Fortheloveofgassers Posted October 20, 2012 Posted October 20, 2012 I am building the new Krutis Kraft midget. What a great kit but that is another story. It looks to me like the tires in the kit are asphalt tires. Do you agree? If my premise is correct has any one found a replacement dirt tire or been able to modify the kit tire to a dirt tire. If so would you mind sharing Thanks in advance.
Ace-Garageguy Posted October 20, 2012 Posted October 20, 2012 (edited) They look like dirt tires to me...especially those blocky rear treads. Depending on the exact time frame, some asphalt cars would have been on slicks..... Edited October 20, 2012 by Ace-Garageguy

The kit tires are pretty accurate replica's of mid-late 1950's Firestone Deluxe Champion dirt tires, but without Firestone lettering and logo's on them. Art
Fortheloveofgassers Posted October 21, 2012 Author Posted October 21, 2012 Wow it never ceases to amaze me how much knowledge there is on this forum and gracious people are when it comes to sharing that knowledge. Thank you William for the picture and thank you Art and William for the invaluable information.
