Platerpants Posted October 27, 2012 Author Posted October 27, 2012 Lookin good Jake. Another thing that works great for tail lights is some red sharpied BMF. Corey thanks for the tip but im outta bmf

Edited November 8, 2012 by Platerpants
Platerpants Posted November 10, 2012 Author Posted November 10, 2012 finally got the amt gtx from amazon. im so happy it has a 426 hemi engine option but no hemi badges. the only downfall it seems the gtx glass it too wide for my bird. starting pictures for the superbird and daytona today both are gonna be 426 hemi light blue street cars with custom license plates
Platerpants Posted November 10, 2012 Author Posted November 10, 2012 But i do need a johan rear bumper just tryed to do a test fit to see if i could mod the gtx one. not happening so if you have one it would be greatly appreciated.
Bonekrosha Posted November 10, 2012 Posted November 10, 2012 (edited) I like the Air Grabber on the Superbird, I always thought they should have had that as a factory option Edited November 10, 2012 by Bonekrosha
Platerpants Posted November 10, 2012 Author Posted November 10, 2012 I like the Air Grabber on the Superbird, I always thought they should have had that as a factory option you can thank dimaxion for that he was gonna convert it to a roadrunner so thats the hood he bought for it. then i had to lengthen it to fit the longer front end of the bird. got both the daytona and superbird engines painted.
Platerpants Posted November 10, 2012 Author Posted November 10, 2012 quick engine update. partially together gonna get wired both cars air cleaners will be from the gtx kit.
Platerpants Posted November 11, 2012 Author Posted November 11, 2012 Got a little wing work done. so what if the daytona had an emblem on the wing like the superbirds did? would it have been the famous dodge super bee window decal? i think it would have but maybe with like charger daytona around it. you can also see how bad i am at repairing wings on the superbird. both winged warriors are blue and white other than the roadrunner hood stripe. oh and the wing logo on the bird is paper and tape to hold it on.
Platerpants Posted November 11, 2012 Author Posted November 11, 2012 ordered 2 wired distributors from detail master a can of flat gull gray for the seats and dashes. got a little interior work done on both. red shifter knobs, and the chassis and body from the bird and gtx are now modded to fit together. so dont expect many engine updates for a week or so.
wabatuckeun Posted November 11, 2012 Posted November 11, 2012 Oh man this is looking great!!! I agree I like 1/25th also, unfrtunatly I don't have my JoHan Superbirds anymore as I traded them away....silly me!!! Stace
Platerpants Posted November 11, 2012 Author Posted November 11, 2012 Thanks if any one can hook me up with these parts it would greatly be appreciated. Rear bumper rear windshield(broke gtx one cutting it to size) Front windshield (GTX is to wide)
Platerpants Posted November 11, 2012 Author Posted November 11, 2012 a look underneath the one on top is the superbird.
