tooltas Posted October 24, 2012 Posted October 24, 2012 yes that kit would look killer layed out. ....
outragis Posted October 25, 2012 Author Posted October 25, 2012 Thanks, I was beginning to wonder why I have gotten no responces!
outragis Posted November 20, 2012 Author Posted November 20, 2012 sitting waiting for parts, I will get it back on bench soon, I have lots of great ideas!
Skydime Posted November 20, 2012 Posted November 20, 2012 (edited) I wish you all the luck in the world. It sounds like a cool idea. But realistically, are you extending the dually fenders to the top of the bed rail? If not, saying tucking 26s is quite ambitious would be an understatement. If you can do it either way, I can't wait to watch because I like me some slammed tow pigs! Heck, if you throw some 20s or 22s on it and call it a day, you still got my attention. outragis Posted November 21, 2012 Author Posted November 21, 2012 we'll see what happens, I am narrowing the front and rear rims a little also,
tooltas Posted November 21, 2012 Posted November 21, 2012 did one not to long a snaper on smaller scale semi wheels and had to cut it a lot
Skydime Posted November 21, 2012 Posted November 21, 2012 That's what Im saying. I think the biggest I've ever personally laying frame is 22s
outragis Posted November 30, 2012 Author Posted November 30, 2012 (edited) As low as I'm going to get her... Edited November 30, 2012 by outragis
Skydime Posted November 30, 2012 Posted November 30, 2012 (edited) Have you got fenderwells in the front? Cut those suckers out if you do and you'll get a ton of clearance. From what I see in the back...due to the light shining through the body, it looks like you could do a lot of tweeking in the back to get about 3 or 4 more scale inches of drop back there. If you can't lay it out on those, you can at least get one heck of a drop and a hot rod rake to it. Edited November 30, 2012 by Skydime

You got a lot more room up front and out back with some convincing. Looks a lot better then it did tho, lookin good.
tooltas Posted November 30, 2012 Posted November 30, 2012 thats what i did nice 1/32 scale truck. wheel fits these truck nice they about same size as scale 24 inch.
fatkidd Posted December 1, 2012 Posted December 1, 2012 I'm liking this project. lowered dually pickups are sweet! not to hijack, but here's a picture of a dodge ram dually snaptite. I cut the wheel well tubs from the bed and moved them towards the center and filled in the gap. the wheels are from a jada toys diecast d-rods series. I'm not sure what they scale out to, but I liked them. Good luck with your project and keep us posted of progress.
ModlerChris1987 Posted December 1, 2012 Posted December 1, 2012 Another thing you could do as well just a suggestion is tub the rear
Skydime Posted December 6, 2012 Posted December 6, 2012 From the last set of pics, looks like you have cut out some fender wells and gotten some more drop out of it...lookin good!
