My brother-in-law has a 1984 Mustang SVO that was broken into and vandalized. I've made it my mission to find him a place where he can get genuine FoMoCo parts at a reasonable price. It is his wish to stay away from aftermarket as he bought it brand new in '84 and wants to keep it all original.

Do any of you car enthusiasts or professional restorers/body techs have a place you can direct me to get the parts

I'm hoping for places similar to LMC or Jegs.

P.S. My daughter spilled root beer on my keyboard so I have no question mark anymore. =(

Sorry to hear about the vandalism. What parts is he looking for? There are several discount outlets for OEM Ford hard-parts, http://fordpartsdiscountoutlet.com/ , but if he's looking for interior, glass and trim, it's been my experience that he's going to have to search piece-by-piece, as a lot of that stuff is dealer-only, out-of-production, no-longer-available.

Thanks alot Bill! I'll send him the link. As far as what parts...I'm not sure. I talked to him last night and told him I'd like to build a model for him to mirror his car and we just started talking about it. He said he was having a really hard time finding parts.

Can't help you on the parts, but as for the keyboard... I see them all the time at yard sales for about $2.

He may already know about this, but if he is not too far from Columbus, OH and the weekend after Thanksgiving there is one of the largest all Ford swap meets at the Ohio State Fairgrounds. It is almot all Mustang parts so he could probably see a lot of the parts before he buys or even have one of the vendors deliver stuff there to save shipping. www.fallsuperswap.com
