rocsas2 Posted October 28, 2012 Posted October 28, 2012 I started building this model about a year ago but put it up after complications with the paint but i am now going to build it again becouse my uncle is building the real version again......it will be a replica of my cousins car that he built before he died and now my uncle is rebuilding the car now so i want to build this for him
rocsas2 Posted October 28, 2012 Author Posted October 28, 2012 Here is a picture of the car now after it has been sitting for about 6-7 years and here is a picture of it when it was first built
rocsas2 Posted October 28, 2012 Author Posted October 28, 2012 sat becouse it was hard to work on...plus money
AzTom Posted October 29, 2012 Posted October 29, 2012 That should be a fun build. What scale is the model you are working on? AzTom
Jairus Posted October 29, 2012 Posted October 29, 2012 I don't understand a car that simple being hard to work on?!?!!? Just don't get it. Mine is so simple I can work on it with an adjustable wrench'n a flat screwdriver...
jbwelda Posted October 29, 2012 Posted October 29, 2012 he also added "also money"...possibly the key factor. it typically is around my dreams too. kool old car and thats whats nice about models: a WHOLE lot easier to work on and you dont get greasy either.
Jairus Posted October 29, 2012 Posted October 29, 2012 The most expensive thing I put in my car is gas in the tank!
SFRC Posted October 29, 2012 Posted October 29, 2012 (edited) Looking at the pics I assume the engine is history... Nice model though. Edited October 29, 2012 by SFRC
rocsas2 Posted October 30, 2012 Author Posted October 30, 2012 it was hard emotionally .........the engine is going to be a small block chevy 350 i think.....im stripping the paint off should have pics tomarow night
gray07 Posted November 7, 2012 Posted November 7, 2012 Sorry about your cousin, i understand how its hard to work on a vehicle after the person that owns it dies, it was hard for me to drive my dads truck after he passed. But iam glad its getting rebuilt and your model wagon is going to be cool, keep the updates coming. Would love to see a picture of both of them done.

Dillon, your model should come out pretty cool... good luck with it and be sure to show us pictures when it's done.
