Name those plates!

2z77767 is the Porsche 500 Spyder that James Dean lost his life in

BDR 529 is the original Bluesmobile from the original Blues Brothers movie "The letters and numbers in the license plate refer to a bike club in Dan Aykroyd's home turf of Toronto, the 'Black Diamond Riders.' The clubhouse was located at that city's 529 Jarvis Street."

It dosen't have any plates on it in the movie besides the dealer's advertising plate. Can you post a pic of that?

I dont have any way to post a pic of it, but when Chevy Chase drives the wagon out the drive, he loses the rear bumper and the license plate is seen

"JJZ 109" = Steve McQueen's Mustang

" RDR 838 " = Bill Hickman's Charger

Both in "Bullitt" (1968).

It should be noted here that the Mustang's plate is *incorrect* for a 1968-model vehicle , as "J" was a 1964-issue letter . The Charger's plate is correct for 1968 ( "R" = 1968 ) .

Wouldn't it have been plausible that the plate was transferred from a previous car?
