Hi Gang,

I have a project in mind using the Revellogram super-modified

the one that came with the trailer but I am not a Chevy fan

(personal choice nothing against those who are :D ) but I would

like to know if anyone produces an Offy 4 banger in resin?

and where to get one. TIA

Etzel's Speed Classics made a fabulous, 1:25 scale 270/255 cid Offenhauser 4-banger several years back, but they are out of business. This engine was so well mastered and cast, you'd think it was a repop of something from the likes of Tamiya. Keep an eye on eBay, one might show up there.

site and got an interesting idea the fellow told of a car that ran

in northern CA that ran on gas with a Weber inducted 289 Ford :)

Give Norm a buzz @ Replicas & Minuatures. I got one from him a few years ago.

That's a repop of the styrene lump from Monogram's '55 Kurtis Kraft 500C Indianapolis Roadster--crude for 1956 (when it was introduced, even more crude by today's high expectations).

Norm Veber's 255cid Offy is correctly done in 1/25 scale, and is HIGHLY detailed. It was first done by Etzel's Speed Classics, and any who knew Chris Etzel, or ever had any of his ESC race car kits can attest to their accuracy and perfection.

It doesn't compare to the one offered by Replicas and Miniatures of Maryland.

I have to agree with you on this one. Excelent repop of the Etzel Offy.

I have to agree with the assesment of Norm's Offy. I bought one from him at the LIARS show last year, and I dont even have anything to put it in. It is a work of art all by itself.
