1/25 scale Air cooled engine ideas

I am building a salt spreader to go in the back of a dump truck, which would run on an air cooled engine. Have considered motorcycle models but have not seen and 1/25 scales. Anyone with any ideas?

There were some 1/25 Husqvarna and Yamaha dirtbikes included with various Revell and MPC kits, but they are all long out of production. Some info here: http://www.modelcars...33&hl=dirtbikes

You may want to look into die-cast bikes for a donor engine, too.

Al, how about the engine from the old wheelhorse tractor in this kit?

It would be more prototypically correct than a motorcycle engine, and this kit is cheap & plentiful!

Correct. The surf board had a small engine to power it. Looks like a horizontal drive old school lawn engine.

Thanks to all for your input. I do now remember the monte carlo, as for Revell #6025, is $40 or higher on ebay so I may not go that route even though would prefer it.
