AlbertS
I am building a salt spreader to go in the back of a dump truck, which would run on an air cooled engine. Have considered motorcycle models but have not seen and 1/25 scales. Anyone with any ideas?
Casey
There were some 1/25 Husqvarna and Yamaha dirtbikes included with various Revell and MPC kits, but they are all long out of production. Some info here: http://www.modelcars...33&hl=dirtbikes You may want to look into die-cast bikes for a donor engine, too.
jeffs396
Al, how about the engine from the old wheelhorse tractor in this kit? It would be more prototypically correct than a motorcycle engine, and this kit is cheap & plentiful!
Ace-Garageguy
.....yes, that one.
vypurr59
There was also a small lawn mower looking motor with the Grandpa Munsters casket car and surfboard

vypurr59
The Dragula! Correct. The surf board had a small engine to power it. Looks like a horizontal drive old school lawn engine.
AlbertS
Thanks to all for your input. I do now remember the monte carlo, as for Revell #6025, is $40 or higher on ebay so I may not go that route even though would prefer it. Ace-Garageguy
I've got an engine from the Lotus kit (assembled, but not bad) that I'll never use. PM me if you want it.
AlbertS
I want it, but am a little behind the tech curve on PM'ing. I will try and email you, if you dont get today, can you please reach out arbpls@verizon.net as I would really like this engine. Thx
