Just getting started but I'm excited about this build. I'm actually combining parts from the Street fighter kit and a diecast model. Plus the big block and other bits from a Monogram '70 Chevelle.

Geno, l can't wait! This is the 1st kit l ever built & l recently aquired a repop to re-live this kit. l love the "factory" grille work. Any power plant thoughts? Bart.

Quick silver, street fighter, bad actor, all in the same, tho i dont remeber which had the window on top like yours, but this looks like a good project...

Hi Geno,

Looks like it's going to be a fun build. Glad to see you're getting back to modelling, and also happy to see you're going to use whatever materials are available to make an interesting model.

Cliff, hello my friend. Yes, I'm happy to be back too. This is a lot of fun. Hope to see you and Larry soon, I always have a great time when we can all get together and talk cars.

I posted this in the want ads but does anyone have the clear glass to fit this model? Actually all I need is the windsheild. Thanks. :D

Here's the dash. I didn't like the plain flat dash with just the tach, so I cut out an opening and grafted the panel in from a '59 Chevy dash. it's just roughed in right now but it'll get there. :)

Thanks Rick, I'll post as I progress. :D

Great start on the wagon, Geno i'd just finished one myself. I'll be following this one.

Yes Dave, I have the red glass. :)

PM sent. Do you have the red glass?

The Revell 1960 Impala is a great donor for this. I'm doing the same project only with a Jimmy Flintstone resin body.

Ok, I've got the color on. I used Model Master #28141 Sterling Silver Metallic Lacquer. I plan on using the 1834 Wet Look Clear Lacquer. Should I wet sand before applying the clear or shoot a coat of clear then wet sand? I was going to shoot the clear, wet sand and apply the decals then clear it again. What would you all suggest as the best method? Thanks, Geno.
