i saw a pic in a Chrome and Flames magazin for jears ago, and wont Built This as a model

the kit is the good Old AMT

the color comes from MY old 1:1 VW beetle.

Rims are Selfmade....rest is out of box

the Rims are the normaly KIT parts but.....i glued a chromed inner ring on the outside of the kit steelie...thats all

If my full scale 50 Chevy turns out like this I will be really happy. I like the way it sits, and the color looks pretty good as well. Mine is going to be orange, I think and if I don't change my mind.

Great job, Uwe! One of my all time favorite truck designs, it always looks good, and I never EVER thought that it might look good in brown, but your build has proved that it indeed DOES! Love the subtle custom work, too...
