Spray some straight lacquer thinner on it. That will release the trapped moisture. I painted in the SF bay area, and was a common fix as it was always humid there.

there is another difference in California '57's. Mine is a California built car with the one piece tubing frame. The other frames were channel welded together to form a box. The square tube frames are much cleaner and are highly sought after .

I got a Revelle Chrysler 300 kit from revell at the local ag store(!), for $6.99. When I got it home I found the hemi motor was molded to the frame. Oh well,at least it was cheap.

Komrad Ed, Just put up a fence with razor wire around your modeling table and you'll bre fine. Worked for me.

Must be the season for them. I was in the hospital six weeks ago with one 6mm in size.when the doctor went in to remove it through a stent, he poked a hole in my kidney.After three surgeries he finally got it out. I had that stent in me for six miserable weeks. You can get pure cranberry juice at the health food stores. Its lots better than Cran Grape. I feel for you ,buddy.

On '32-'34 frames you can lower them by putting in a flat front crossmember.also, when I was a kid, there were lots of cars running suicide perches, not just T buckets.

When I was just starting out painting cars(mid sixties) we used to warm the synthetic enamel on a hot plate to thin it and shoot it without thinner. it gave an incredible gloss, but was risky. The warmer you make the metal and paint the better, to a point. you don't want the paint drying to fast, as that causes a lot of other problems. If you take some time to experiment, you'll eventually get some great results. good luck.
