Hi guys getting back to building models again after a couple years out and have a question for you.

The project I'm working now a paited using Tamiya ts-39 Mica Red but I'm not sure of what clear coat to use is the Tamiya clearcoat a good choice or is any other you thing is better or easiest to use than that.Thanks.

The non one coat One Coat clear is also an excellent choice. It won't harm decals.

BTW-I wonder if all the different Testor lacquer clears aren't all the same formula in cans with different labels?

Modelmaster clear lacquer also works just as well, which is good, considering that Tamiya no longer offers their TS-13 clear coat.

Well today I try the Testors high gloss clear enamel #1814 (is the only I found local)on a spun for a test and works great,no adverse reaction with the paint, fast drying and really high gloss with just one coat.Really hope this one works good for me.

I've always used Testors enamel clear over Tamiya colour coats ; the results are consistant , and best of all : no tedious colour sanding / wet sanding and polishing !
