Snakebite Customs Posted December 27, 2012 Posted December 27, 2012 Personally I like it alot. Other than a few minor fit issues it came out better than i thought it would. So here it is I hope you enjoy it. thanks for looking Ben
Jim Whalen Posted December 27, 2012 Posted December 27, 2012 Hi, Looking good! Try ironing a bedsheet and using that as a background for your model when you photograph it - it may give you a more consistent colour (and use a daylight bulb as well - or photograph outside (but not in direct, bright sunlight)). An easy way to get improve the looks of the straps on your aircleaner would be to use bare metal foil. The model has turned out nicely - have you got a trailer to put behind it? Cheers, Jim
Snakebite Customs Posted December 27, 2012 Author Posted December 27, 2012 Me and baremetal foil dont like each other lol. As for a Trailer, No i dont have one.I dont have the space to display it if i did lol. Thanks for the tips on taking pics, I know the lighting kinda sucks lol

Custom Hearse Posted January 14, 2013 Posted January 14, 2013 Looks good to me. I built one of those and then sold it on Evilbay for $50...
philo426 Posted January 29, 2013 Posted January 29, 2013 They look good but they need stripes like Movin' ON!
1959scudetto Posted February 13, 2013 Posted February 13, 2013 The stripes from the original issue (early '80's) work also very well: built out-of-the-box (the Melton Truck Lines and United diesel mudflap decals were included). The only thing I added was the headache rack from amt's KW Alaskan Hauler. Her I hooked it to ERTL's Great Dane trailer (OOB).
