brodie_83 Posted January 23, 2013 Posted January 23, 2013 I'm wondering of anybody has ever made a set of larger sized (17's or 18's) Shelby wheels, found on cars like Eleanor from "Gone In 60 Seconds". I know theres a german place that makes a resin Eleanor kit with those wheels, but I dont think they are offering them separately. Just in case, I emailed them and asked. If anyone knows of anywhere else that makes them, please let me know. Thanks! -Brodie
Casey Posted January 23, 2013 Posted January 23, 2013 Like these? They are closer to 20" in 1/25 scale, though: The real wheel with a knock-off in place:
brodie_83 Posted January 23, 2013 Author Posted January 23, 2013 Yes! I just didnt recognize them without the spinner hub. Nice!
Elliot949 Posted January 23, 2013 Posted January 23, 2013 The original Revell Snap kit of the 77 Monte Carlo has them...
brodie_83 Posted January 24, 2013 Author Posted January 24, 2013 Sweet! I had no idea that they were the oversized Shelby wheels! I will have to get a set or two. Thanks guys!

streetmachine11 Posted January 24, 2013 Posted January 24, 2013 hey brodie, if you like a stagared set of wheels ive been getting some rear wheels from a diecast you can buy at walmart for five bucks
brodie_83 Posted January 24, 2013 Author Posted January 24, 2013 Oh yeah? Let me know which diecast you speak of...
streetmachine11 Posted January 26, 2013 Posted January 26, 2013 hey brodie, here is the diecast i was talking about and a mockup to give you an idea. the back wheels are great for the offset and the fronts can be used on smaller cars like the opel gt or mini. not bad for the price jason
