I had to put a bunch of recent builds and diecasts under glass. So, I needed to rearrange my display shelf. I thought I might show off some past builds or diecast repaints. I will limit each post to six pictures. If anyone has a problem, let me know.

My first collection is AMT Custom/Proshop cars that I detailed and foiled. I loved these kits because when I couldn't paint or had limited time, it gave instant gratification.

IMG_0030_zps66b1415f.jpg

1948 Ford Woody. Nice kit to build but I wasn't to crazy about the chassis and windows.

IMG_0041_zpsc6fe5c02.jpg

1955 Chevy Nomad. Nice looking car. The tailgate/window is kind of fussy.

IMG_0029_zps50cfbbbe.jpg

1956 Ford Fairlane. Easy build amazing kit for age.

IMG_0049_zps5cf5a636.jpg

1957 Chrysler 300. Big beautiful car with great detail.

IMG_0027_zps749bcf19.jpg

1957 Ford Thunderbird. The kit design shows its age but, still looks good.

IMG_0033_zpscd111279.jpg

1957 Chevy BelAir. I think everyone has built this kit at least once. The extra 409 dispays nice.

IMG_0034_zpsc8287ded.jpg

The saga continues... Tonight I'll add repainted NASCAR diecasts and a few others I built years ago.

IMG_0006-2_zpsd128d27b.jpg

Carl Edwards 2009 #60 Scotts Wild Bird Food/Songbird Fusion. Pretty car built for wife, she loves cardinals. Don't remember decals or color used.

IMG_0009-1_zps407fed31.jpg

Travis Kvapil 2008 #28 LaFayette Ford Fusion. I always thought this Fred Lorezen paint scheme. It made a nice clean car. Don't remember decals, but the color is Wimbeldon white.

.IMG_0010-1_zpse7d17599.jpg

Carl Edwards 2004 #99 Superchips F-150. This picture does a lot for these decals. Don't remember where they came from, but they look like a photocopy. Paint is some old Duplicolor bright white.

IMG_0011-1_zps56007832.jpg

Carl Edwards 2005 #99 Scotts Fusion. JWTBM decals? I think the paint is Duplicolor bright white and some Duplicolor engine paint bright green.

IMG_0012-1_zps7cce2581.jpg

Carl Edwards (see a theme?) 2004 #99 no sponsor Fusion. Crappy who knows decals and black paint.

IMG_0052_zps868b597b.jpg

Bill Elliott 2009 #21 Motorcraft Fusion. More crappy decals but the paint is original Action, I just removed the pad print.

IMG_0014-1_zpsea9f9e41.jpg

IMG_0016-1_zpsb7b9d0ef.jpg

Rick Rudd 1994 #10 Tide Thunderbird. First time I used resin piece (nose), I think the decals are Monogram and the paint is neon orange and white.

IMG_0059_zpsf3230f98.jpg

Bill Elliott 1992 #9 Budweiser Thunderbird. The only car I ever attempted to detail. Aftermarket decals (of course) and Tru-Match #11 red paint.

IMG_0060_zpsd9e48c93.jpg

IMG_0063_zpsda37f0a9.jpg

IMG_0064_zps5c24b1c2.jpg

Bill Elliott 1981 #9 Mell-Gear Thunderbird. Slixx decals and Testors paint. Same number problem.

IMG_0065_zpsa2c9c3fc.jpg

Buddy Baker 1973 #15 RC Cola Torino. My dad built the MPC Sta-Power back in the 70's and gave it to me (long gone now). I built this from the Jo-Han kit and Fred Cady decals in the early nineties for him. He past a few years ago, so its back with me. Needs some repair.
