charlie8575 Posted January 28, 2013 Posted January 28, 2013 Stupidity never sleeps. I was kind of hoping there was some video to go along with this, but there isn't. The victim: a 2012 Honda Civic. Cause is believed to be a spark from the remote control popping the trunk. http://boston.cbslocal.com/2013/01/27/car-explosion-rocks-parking-lot-in-stoneham/ Charlie Larkin
clavender17 Posted January 28, 2013 Posted January 28, 2013 Hahaha i bet he uses a truck for his pluming job nextime
LDO Posted January 28, 2013 Posted January 28, 2013 A truck or van wouldn't fare any better. I saw photos of a plumbing van that exploded in a guy's driveway. An acetylene tank had been slowly leaking overnight and the plumber started the van by remote control. Van parts in several yards and on a roof or two. Destroyed a boat on a trailer, too.
charlie8575 Posted January 28, 2013 Author Posted January 28, 2013 Channel 7 posted the broadcast, for those interested. http://www1.whdh.com/video/player/?clipId=8250554&clipFormat=flv&topVideoCatNo=#?autoStart#?autoStart Charlie Larkin
pharoah Posted January 28, 2013 Posted January 28, 2013 I remember seeing that van. There wasn't a lot left of it. Carrying acetylene in a Honda?
