MoparWoman Jamie
Looks like you are having fun, Jim...nice work you are doing there...some details that many of us would miss for sure. Thanks Tony, to be honest, I always thought Revell was good at details and got there stuff right on. I was surprise when I was looking at the grill plate and realized something didn't look right. Then I notice the grill was more squeezed in place on there charger models. Now don't get me wrong here, Revell does some good models and at times even the good company's can over look stuff in details and place them in the wrong location or make them to thick LOL. I know making the rear frame rails with the correct bends is hard even with me looking at my real '68 charger. I think of Revell and Meabus(sp) is the two goodest model car company's out there. With me rebuilding things here. It makes it more fun for me.
hjracing
Awesome build! Great detailed. I like to see people like you taken a model to a more realistic level. Keep it coming!
TFchronos
Awesome work on it so far, all the detail you're putting into it is amazing, I will be watching this very closely for sure. Keep it up!
MoparWoman Jamie
Thank you all for the kind comments, comments are always welcome. Yea I do like to push myself to do better on each project I do. I also like to get each project to look real much as I can. I like to open the door and trunks up on my projects and the worst thing if open a trunk up to a model that has a unrealistic trunk to it like these chargers does and a lot of other model vehicles out there that does. I understand why people put trunk mats in there models for LOL. Anyways I got some stuff done yesterday on this build. If things goes right, things for this build can help out yet another charger build that I have going on that is a AMT charger. Anyways here's some updates. I hope you enjoy them. MoparWoman Jamie
I know, I have the frame rail on the wrong side of the trunk pan.. it should be under it LOL Test fitting with another chassis to see how it looks, the front area will be up higher on the new frame

MoparWoman Jamie
Hi you all, well I been busy at making another frame rail to match. I used two piece's or evergreen and a thin piece of a for sale sign as well. I also drilled holes in the close to correct spots as I could. I have alot of 1:1 ref photos
MoparWoman Jamie
I glued the original modified rail to the evergreen and started to use a diemond cutter bit in the dremel Here you can see the two frame rails now, you can see where I also added a extra 4x4 piece of evergreen to build up the height. The green marks are location points for the rear shock cross member
