Well I have had an off week. Lost one friend, got some yard work done. Been working on the semi project and this one mostly.

I been filing away on this console this week. It's almost there though. I had to take and redo to the console top plates as well.

I even glued the console into the chassis and one seat just to see how it looks and how much more I had to file down so things with the dash in place would look.

Anyways on with the photos. LOL

I needed to drop it down more and also reshape the gear plate area as well, it's still in rough stage yet.

Yes, as you can see, I glued the shifting gear leaver hole shut. I am going to rework that area as well.

Here you can see the side plate trim is now in bad shape.. don't worry.

Here is the new top plate trim. Now the thing is, on the the real consoles they are slightly tilted, the kit one is not. So I used a hand file, a wide one about 1/4 wide and easy filed the side all the way down at an angle until the kit trim pop off. Not, I'll be leaving the top straight in front trim piece on for the time being

I decided to take a few days off the other day from the semi truck build and get a few small things taking care of on this project as well. I got the new camera in, been working with it trying to get use to the new camera.

Anyways I jump to the front of the front end clip that I been tickering with. I got alot of the detail work in the center area but still have a few small things to add yet. I been using a real charger as ref on figuring out where to locate some of the panel designs at.

The front clip is a Revell one that I am correcting.

Anyways on to the photos..
