Harry P. Posted February 20, 2013 Posted February 20, 2013 Is the Futura really a Lincoln? If yes, then put me down for one. And a Zephyr.
Ace-Garageguy Posted February 20, 2013 Posted February 20, 2013 I have to agree with the last two picks. Always liked the Mk3, and the Zephyr is just exquisite.
John Goschke Posted February 20, 2013 Posted February 20, 2013 You guys can have all your pimp wagons and country club land yachts! My first choice would be a true Carrera Pan Americana road race-prepped '53 Lincoln Capri hardtop. But it'd probably take a few more Washingtons than I've got!
CEKPETHO BCE Posted February 20, 2013 Posted February 20, 2013 Hands down, far and away, a chopped 39 zephyr. Second that.
Elliot949 Posted February 20, 2013 Posted February 20, 2013 Definitely the Mark 7. I had a Mark VII... what a real piece of junk... had it for 2 years and got rid of it for a Ford T-Bird... The electronics on that car was a nightmare...
Elliot949 Posted February 20, 2013 Posted February 20, 2013 My Dad had a '71 just like this one. I want one baaaaad!!!!! I had a 69... Loved that car... I wich I still had it... Ice Blue with matching interior and Vinyl top...
Ron Hamilton Posted February 20, 2013 Posted February 20, 2013 (edited) I just picked up one of these to re-build. I may go with this color combo on the build. That model is HUGE!!!!!! Pictures to come later. Edited February 20, 2013 by Ron Hamilton
7000in5th Posted February 20, 2013 Posted February 20, 2013 1956 Lincoln because the trunk lock is under the knight's visor...
torinobradley Posted February 20, 2013 Posted February 20, 2013 (edited) '39 Scrape Okay, tried to include a picture but failed miserably... Just do a search on Lincoln Scrape and bring up the purple monster. Edited February 20, 2013 by torinobradley
rmvw guy Posted February 20, 2013 Posted February 20, 2013 1956 Lincoln because the trunk lock is under the knight's visor... This is too cool! That's what I liked about the '50's. Also put me down for one vote on Harry's pick the Zephyr, If you have never seen one of these up close and you are a fan of the fat fender Fords, you will fall in love.
Greg Myers Posted February 21, 2013 Posted February 21, 2013 (edited) Should be restored to its original form. Edited February 21, 2013 by Greg Myers
