INTERIOR PANELS...

I cut 2 pieces of plastic, and beveled the top edges, to make the side panels in the interior. I also cut 2 more strips of plastic to "Back" the 2 front vents...

Next I glued the underside Access Panel in place and then used Elmers White Glue on the interior joints. The interior was then painted flat black.

Love it!

It's starting to look like a sexier version of the Landspeeders from Star Wars.

THANKS CHUCK!

Ira, I have to say that your imagination is bigger than this universe and I'm glad some of it has escaped into your wonderful works of art. Seeing your work (as well as a few other talented builders) has inspired several of my own projects (on going as they are and some completed ones as well). Thank you for sharing this and your many other awesome builds. Can't wait to see what you come up with next.

That is going to be one killer exhaust Ira! The scallop on the rear really helps too, it looks much better!

Thanks Mike!

ROBO-PILOT!!!

I used the driver from a Monogram Stinger Dragster for AeroTrec. I carved down the fire mask to look more like a Sci Fi Helmet. I did the Tribal Flames on the helmet with a Sharpie.

The idea for these Anti Gravity Racers comes from a Video Game so I decided that the Pilot will control the AeroTrec with a Video Game Controller!

The last photo showed a big chip in the Bubbletop. I covered it with a NASCAR Decal.

The New Oldsmobile Rocket 88 !

Nice work Ira .

Bill Haley

Rocket '88 lyrics

Songwriters: BRENSTON, JACKIE

You may have heard of jalopies,

You heard the noise they make,

Let me introduce you to my Rocket '88.

Yes it's great, just won't wait,

Everybody likes my Rocket '88.

Gals will ride in style,

Movin' all along.

(Guitar solo, leading into steel guitar solo.)

V-8 motor and this modern design,

My convertible top and the gals don't mind

Sportin' with me, ridin' all around town for joy.

(Spoken) -- Blow your horn, Rocket, blow your horn!

(Horn sound effect leading into guitar solo.)

Step in my Rocket and-a don't be late,

We're pullin' out about a half-past-eight.

Goin' on the corner and-a havin' some fun,

Takin' my Rocket on a long, hot run.

Ooh, goin' out,

Oozin' and cruisin' along.

(Guitar solo.)

Now that you've ridden in my Rocket '88,

I'll be around every night about eight.

You know it's great, don't be late,

Everybody likes my Rocket '88.

Gals will ride in style,

Movin' all along.

(Fade out, ending with sound effect of a car driving away.)

Thanks Andy!

Ira, it looks great! I just want to see that exhaust in place, you've gotta find a way to get flames shooting out if it too! :)

Thanks Mike!

Great Idea...
