This is all temporary, as these parts will be installed after the engine goes into the frame.............at least that's the plan................

Further detail pieces will probably wait until I get closer to putting this into the frame.................

I don't see any mention of scale....what scale are you working in? And could I get the same engine printed in 1/12 scale??? I would really like to use the non turbo engine for a monte carlo rallye car in 1/12 scale...............feel free to PM me with any details..............matt

Matt.......the scale here is 1/16...........a bit small for some of this detail, but workable if patient...........

PM sent..........

The Porsche motor, having a dry-sump oiling system, will need an oil tank.................this one will fit nicely under the seat area..................

This looks amazing with the engine in place! Just a Porsche engine with a seat! :)

That yellow color just looks right!

Austin...........the tank will be a fat, early-style Harley Davidson type...........twin filler caps with an instrument pod on top.............at least that is the plan so far.............there is an image that shows it back on post 36 of this thread.....................

3-D printing is not only more accessible but the technology just keeps getting better & better.....it's hard to believe that Tony's trike is only 1/16th scale!

Thanks, Ira, I appreciate the good word.............

And Don's comment about this being 1/16 scale, well, it's a bit small for my drifting eye-sight and fat fingers, however, I took a shot at flaring some aluminum tubing for the ram tubes on the throttle bodies............then installed the intakes on the engine.........
