gtx6970 Posted February 23, 2013 Posted February 23, 2013 This is another one that was painted last spring. then sat aside . It's the Model King re-issue from a few years ago At some point I might add a pre- wired dist but for now I want to call it done . At least till I find a set of the rear wheelie bars to add in, the ones in the kit were warped beyond use 100% box stock. Painted in Testors green metallic with a rattle can urethane clear. It took 3 sets of decals to get it done as they kept cracking as soon as I pulled them out of the water. Plus they are actually done for the Johan kit which I think is incorrect for this car scheme. So it took some work to get right . But it's done and I'll move on with the next one. If any one has one,,,, I need the ft bumper from the Soapy Sales kit , as this model king re-issue doesn't have one With that said,, Enjoy Comments good and bad welcome
realgone58 Posted February 24, 2013 Posted February 24, 2013 Beautiful job on a not so commonly seen flopper! Awesome!
Ron Hamilton Posted February 24, 2013 Posted February 24, 2013 Excellent model!!! I once went to school down the street from Bob Banning's dealership. He had some interesting cars there to say the least. A true performance dealership.
Christopher J Posted February 24, 2013 Posted February 24, 2013 I love it. That is a beautiful build. Very clean.
