acmiaz Posted February 27, 2013 Posted February 27, 2013 This is a 1/43 resin kit of Tim Richmond's Hendick Motorsports 1986 MC SS Aeroback. These little kits are fun to build they dont have much of an interior so I had to scratch build the roll cage and a few other other components that was common to the cars in those days.
Old Coyote Posted February 27, 2013 Posted February 27, 2013 Very nice build sir .......... those are unique little cars
pa3de8 Posted February 27, 2013 Posted February 27, 2013 Looks sharp! I built the Monogram 1/24 kit of that many moons ago!
towman1271 Posted February 27, 2013 Posted February 27, 2013 Nice job..........love the cars of that time
MAGNUM4342 Posted February 27, 2013 Posted February 27, 2013 My mother was a huge fan of his (and Folgers) and took his demise a little harder than the average fan. He was an incredible talent on the track and a great guy off of it. This build is a really cool tribute to the man. Kudos on a well done model.
bbowser Posted February 27, 2013 Posted February 27, 2013 Very nice job. If I had started with 1/43 I would have a lot more room in the display case . Richmond was always one of my favorite drivers. One of the first to bring a little 'Hollywood' to the good ole boys!
