Darryl.... I think you are doing a killer job on is build. I know what you mean on not going back to a smaller scale. 1/16th scale is my favorite for drag racing builds. I love how much easier it is to do detailing on the bigger sizes. I am looking forward to more progress on this.

Hi just a little update. I tell you it is real nerve racking cutting open doors on a good body and then to start on the body bracing so here we go.post-11581-0-63518100-1371015859_thumb.jpost-11581-0-24185100-1371016010_thumb.jpost-11581-0-98398200-1371016137_thumb.jpost-11581-0-77884200-1371016238_thumb.jpost-11581-0-10796700-1371016333_thumb.jpost-11581-0-14746900-1371016417_thumb.j

Making the pillar out of brass and bolt tabs to hold the body on so will be adding more all along the bottom and back of body and a full floor pan in and out so lots to go . Just a bit of a break on the chassis to do the body mounts and to cast up some parts before they become fixtures on the P/M.

Ooooooh, see what I been missing in my absence. :(

Darryl, incredible craftsmanship on display right here lad. GREAT work!

The intricate brass fabrication is mind blowing mate, look forward to seeing more as it happens. :)

Looks really intricate and detailed, Darryl - just how I like it. My hat's off to you for using brass in place of styrene. Too bad paint will cover it all up and nobody can appreciate it.
