codie27 Posted March 10, 2013 Posted March 10, 2013 Hello all. I thought Id share this one here on the forum. Before I started building models my only passion was drawing using paper and pencil. Recently after thinking about it for years I decided to start using paints and canvas. After a few portraits and fantasy stuff I gave some thought about painting a car. This little Deuce is the end result of my first try.
codie27 Posted March 10, 2013 Author Posted March 10, 2013 Thanks man...I gotta think of something for my next one now.
001slick001 Posted March 10, 2013 Posted March 10, 2013 nice job i also like drawing cars and started painting it's really fun.good job I can't wait to see your next one.
rmvw guy Posted March 10, 2013 Posted March 10, 2013 Thanks for sharing, I would be real proud of that one. One suggestion, I would rotate it 1/4 turn before hanging it.
codie27 Posted March 11, 2013 Author Posted March 11, 2013 Thanks guys....Sorry about the sore necks, lol...I'm not sure why the picture came up like that.
pharoah Posted March 11, 2013 Posted March 11, 2013 (edited) Here ya go. BTW,I know it's been covered before, but does everyone hate the new photobucket? I copied this picture twice before I realized it,and now I can't delete the first one. I hit 'delete' and the window goes black. ????? Edited March 11, 2013 by pharoah
codie27 Posted March 11, 2013 Author Posted March 11, 2013 Pharoah...Thanks for twirling that pic. I had a photobucket account but forgot my password and am only using my phone for internet use at the moment.
mr moto Posted March 12, 2013 Posted March 12, 2013 Looks great!! Especially for a first attempt at a car. It's easy to see you already had some talent and experience to work with! And, yes, the old Photobucket wasn't that great but the new one is WAY worse.
thatz4u Posted March 16, 2013 Posted March 16, 2013 after looking at the painting, I have only one comment: you know your subject....
