Helix Posted March 11, 2013 Posted March 11, 2013 G' Day Folks, A stalled project, but finished now AMT Kit (old issue kit) Tamiya Racing white and a few bits and pieces thrown in from my spares box. Cheers Ray
rmvw guy Posted March 11, 2013 Posted March 11, 2013 You did it justice. Not an easy kit to build and make it look good. Your little details make it pop from the engine to the logos. Nice job Ray. Cheers to you.
John Teresi Posted March 11, 2013 Posted March 11, 2013 Ray........nice build.......detail is nice too !.......I also like the Helix sign in the diorama.
1972coronet Posted March 11, 2013 Posted March 11, 2013 Outstanding 'Vette , Ray ! I absolutely LOVE that dolled-up Blue Flame Six and its side draft carburettures ( ) ! Just gorgeous work ! And your '64 'Imp is outstanding as well ! Keep up the beautiful work , Ray
Prince Ital Mike Posted March 11, 2013 Posted March 11, 2013 Very nice Vette, Ray. I'm workin on it now so I know what it takes
Helix Posted March 13, 2013 Author Posted March 13, 2013 Very nice Vette, Ray. I'm workin on it now so I know what it takes Hey Michael, is yours the latest release? Is it new tooling or a re-issue?
Prince Ital Mike Posted March 13, 2013 Posted March 13, 2013 Hey Michael, is yours the latest release? Is it new tooling or a re-issue? My kit is from 2001, second hand. It's actually '55, but I think it's basically similar. The parts were warped and there was flash EVERYWHERE...

Duntov Posted March 15, 2013 Posted March 15, 2013 This is a very appropriate build.... given what they were (at the time) I have to wonder how many 53-54's had this done to them... (12 volt battery included!!) and some 55's as well... A well done build that is VERY believable... Regards Bill (Duntov)
