AMT / MPC Funnycar ft axle Question

Anyone know of the ft axle in the new MPC Mustang funnycars are wider , narrower or same as the one in the Challenger funnycar.?

The one in the challenger just looks to narrow / wrong for the body. And I have an older builtup of a Soapy Sales car where the ft axle is wider and so much better looking. I just don't know if its the original kit axle or not.

I have a few Barry Setzer Vega FC builtups and the ft axle in all of them is definitly wider than the challenger axle

The challenger and Kalitta Mustang axles are both the same width, altho the axles themselves are a bit different. The axle in the Blue Max MPC/AMT reissue of a few years back is narrower than the two I just mentioned.
