wheaton79chris Posted March 28, 2013 Posted March 28, 2013 (edited) Almost like micro machines . I have some general Lee's in that size Edited March 28, 2013 by wheaton79chris
JunkPile Posted March 28, 2013 Posted March 28, 2013 I have a '65 Vette of same scale with hollow metal body, metal wire axles and metal wheel/tires. No windows
MAGNUM4342 Posted March 28, 2013 Posted March 28, 2013 Looks to me like you have a duke's mixture of Micro Machines and kit trophy tops.
Edsel-Dan Posted March 28, 2013 Posted March 28, 2013 I have a few of those. Including the 57 Chevy & Ford that AMT had in those 2 kits as Trophy tops I have a few of the 32 Ford coupe too. Not sure I have seen the Pickup version. Remember the "Customizing" Series?? It included a Modern Vette in the Chrome Trophy & Stancion tree
kalbert Posted March 28, 2013 Posted March 28, 2013 Something to think about.... http://xkcd.com/878/
Custom Hearse Posted March 28, 2013 Posted March 28, 2013 I made an "N" scale R/C car for a friends railroad layout at his hobby shop in Joplin. I used sprue from a model car kit and wrapping wire for the tires...
jaymcminn Posted March 28, 2013 Posted March 28, 2013 Don't forget about the Revell "Amigo Pack" issues from about ten years ago that included a 1:64 diecast in the same color scheme as the 1:25. I still have the little T-bucket diecast on my computer desk.
jbwelda Posted March 28, 2013 Posted March 28, 2013 yeah those cars are meant to go on trophies from AMT kits i believe. really kool. ive seen one of the pickup trucks, 34 ford i believe, with a chopped top and a chrome flame job. i collect them anytime i see any, usually in "junk" spare parts boxes brought to club meetings for everyone to comb through.

knarf Posted March 28, 2013 Author Posted March 28, 2013 (edited) alright...the two that are pictured by the ruler are from model kits the 57chevy by amt and the 34 ford pickup(i believe). i did not realize they were meant to be trophy tops, i just thought "sweeeeet!!! scale models of scale models! that's a bit of right-on the others are a mix of hot wheels key chains, racing champions 1/144scale diecast(the two 57 chevies and the superbird) packaged as route 66 for k-mart and the black coupe is a mini hot wheels that came with a playset. here's more pix this one came from a an el cheapo electronic game where it just vibrated along a road.
