DrKerry Posted March 29, 2013 Posted March 29, 2013 Another one I'm working on.... 62 Bel Aire with my Pontiac El Camino back half.
Ramfins59 Posted March 29, 2013 Posted March 29, 2013 Looks interesting Kerry... can't wait to see more.
outragis Posted March 29, 2013 Posted March 29, 2013 hows the windshield going to fit Kerry? This looks awesome! love it!
DrKerry Posted March 29, 2013 Author Posted March 29, 2013 Thanks guys.... Eric, the roof lines from the Pontiac Catalina and the Bel Aire are pretty much dead on. The windshield fits perfectly. This body will more than likely be going to resin as well.
cobraman Posted March 29, 2013 Posted March 29, 2013 Nice project. Is the roof taller at the windshield. Can't tell.
DrKerry Posted March 30, 2013 Author Posted March 30, 2013 It is a bit Ray. To get the body lines to line up and not have the bed area sit outside of the body. This way it looks right for the backhalf. It doesn't look to bad from the profile shot. I wanted to build it to where the end user can use the windshield from the Bel Aire kit without having to cut a shield to make it fit. If this was to remain mine and only mine I would of chopped the frame and cut the glass. But it is going to resin so I didn't want to make it a nightmare for who ever purchases it.
