1/24 Lotus Elan

re-painted this Elan to a better looking color. Change the wheels and added some PE parts. The model itself is not bad. But seems a little too big. But the shape looks right and interior is actually rubber not plastic.

it's a Gunze kit. old multimedia kit.

Oh yes the old Gunze kit with the vinyl like interiors. They made a very nice range of small sports cars like the TR-3, Bugeye Sprite, XK-E, Karmann Ghia conv and all had the black rubber interiors. The Elan seemed to be the most common and I was still running into them on store shelves up to a year or so ago. I wish those molds would resurface as they were fun little kits to build. Well done on yours.
