Sean W Posted April 19, 2013 Posted April 19, 2013 Another kit I have been holding on to for too many years. This is the Tamiya 1990 NSX, and it is just a great kit. It assembled so fast, and cleanly. The exhaust system on this kit is my first use of Alclad II chrome lacquer ever, and I was astonished at the results. I read up on how best to use Alclad, and just did it, turned out beautiful if I do say so myself The paint on my Acura is MM Kiln Red Metallic over a very dark grey primer, I don't like the primer, but this paint looks great on the car. I just wasn't too excited about any of the stock colors for it, so I went in another direction. She will be done very soon also, I get to do the masking and painting of the windshield piece(s), oh joy! Catch ya'll later.
Modlbldr Posted April 19, 2013 Posted April 19, 2013 Oh yeah, Sean. That red DID turn out nice. Love the color. Get these finished so you can start on the Ferrari. Later-
