CrazyGirl Posted April 24, 2013 Posted April 24, 2013 I bought this Revell 05 corvette because I loved the one a member build , Maurice I think his name is , anyway the car came today , but it's not the same picture of the car as the one I had bought , but it seems the numbers are the same , so , are these two kits the same kit ,, the one I got is the kit with the pic of the back of the car
Ace-Garageguy Posted April 24, 2013 Posted April 24, 2013 If the kit numbers are the same, it's a pretty close to 100% indication the kit contents are the same. Revell DID make a snap-kit version of the C6 convert, but it's not the same kit ID#. The lower one is 85-2840...I have it in my hand.
CrazyGirl Posted April 24, 2013 Author Posted April 24, 2013 ok Bill , my kit number is 85-2840 also , so same kit right ?
Ace-Garageguy Posted April 24, 2013 Posted April 24, 2013 (edited) I'd say the chances are 99.999999999999999% yes. If you google that kit number, images for both box-art versions come up. I've got some other kits of various issues from Revell on the shelf with different art but the contents are the same if the numbers are the same (in some cases, the COLOR of the plastic is different). Danno Posted April 24, 2013 Posted April 24, 2013 Same kit. Box art may change, but if the number is the same, the kit's the same.
CrazyGirl Posted April 24, 2013 Author Posted April 24, 2013 thanks guys , I get nervous when something is not the same lol
