danman6677 Posted May 2, 2013 Posted May 2, 2013 It was primed then sat for 2 weeks. Paint is duplicolor shaken for 10 minutes placed in warm water.
Ace-Garageguy Posted May 3, 2013 Posted May 3, 2013 (edited) The "hot" paint (Duplicolor is usually lacquer) attacked the primer, which wasn't sufficiently solvent-resistant. That's what it LOOKS like anyway. What brand of primer did you use?? An enamel primer ?? This is another good illustration of why it's good to TEST on something else, or hidden, BEFORE you spray the model. Edited May 3, 2013 by Ace-Garageguy
danman6677 Posted May 3, 2013 Author Posted May 3, 2013 its not the duplicolor primer and silly me didnt read the fine print which states it may not be compatible with some primers. So I guess ill be buying duplicolor primer.
