Mrdarkmonkey96
Are you looking at something that's just a circular plate? If so, do you have 1:1 dimensions that are common to that type of plate? I'd be willing to include something the next time I draw up parts in that thickness. I think they're looking for the actual pins. I think they're called cotter pins or something? futurattraction
New photo etch stuff I got in. Most of it is 1/16th. There are 1/25th scale trigger wheel sets for five different applications (BBC, SBC, BBF, SBF, and Big Mopar) that I'll post separately. 1/16th chassis tabs and brackets 1/16th upper strut mount gussets 1/16th lever set 1/16th wheelie bar housing kit 1/16th front end mounting brackets 1/16th dragster cockpit controls 1/16th drilled large OD rotors (11.75") I've also got two styles of safety harnesses. I am trial assembling a set of each to see if they go together correctly. Here are pics of them. MAGNUM4342
Several manufacturers made 1/24th/25th scale hood pin sets that included the plates, cotter style and torsion style retainer pins. That's what i'm looking for.

MAGNUM4342
I do already see a lot of stuff I can apply to my Chargers though! Even without hood pins.

futurattraction
Kevin and Douglas - I am going to do some follow-up and see what I can come up with for hood pin hardware. It will take some time, so please be patient. Casey - Thanks. I'm hoping this will help fill some voids for larger scale builders. Onward and upward, hopefully... Hey Joe! Thanks. You've got to get yourself back to 100% builders strength so you can get lots of stuff from me! LOL Thank Kevin. I hope there are things that will help you out. Will do, Anthony. I am hoping to find some 3/16" ribbon in a handful of colors to include as belt material. I know it's available online, but haven't found any locally, so far. I am going to use the white medical tape and cut it into appropriate strips and try that in the meantime. Mooneyzs
Hey Scott... I may have some hood pins in my 1/25th stuff. I know I had a set from S&S Specialties when they were around many years ago. I will get a pic if I can find it. Also on the seat belt material, Ribbon would work ok but from what I have seen there is one brand of medical tape that seems to look he best for the material for the restraints. I believe its a Johnson and Johnson brand. I just looked at the different medical tapes that I have and the Johnson & Johnson and 3M have ones that are really similar but the J&J has a tighter pattern. if you want I can take pics of them as well for you. futurattraction
That would be great, Chris. I think what I have is the J&J brand. Thanks for your offer of pics. I'm really close to having your stuff ready to send out... Edited May 22, 2013 by futurattraction
kitbash1
Hi Scott. You can also try 3M Cloth Medical tape. It has a good weave pattern for 1/12th scale cars and takes colour from a magic marker very well. You've got some interesting PE parts that I could use for my Daytona Charger builds. futurattraction
Thanks for the info, Douglas. It's much appreciated. Chris, thank you for the pics. Tonight is grocery night, so I'm gonna see if I can pick up a roll of one or the other of those first-aid tapes.
