diorama lawn question

maybe this should go in the diorama section , but has anyone ever used real grass seed to grow a real lawn in a diorama , if so do they have tiny grass seeds for a more scale looking real lawn , thanks

Real grass would look very much out of scale. Model railroaders and many diorama builders use a grass material that is applied using static electricity, and the results are VERY realistic.

a lot of time, "real" materials look artificial when used in a scale format.

Anne, I'm in the diorama business. I've never seen a scale grass seed . I generally use a mixture of Rail road items , finely sifted dirt, sand , and some textured papers .

Even the tiniest grass seeds will grow into full-scale grass...

Yes, but you have to get them from Japan...to be used with those tiny banzai trees.
