Barrel valve and distributor ports Top Fuel

Hi

I need to build a Barrel valve for a top fuler not the k style type.

and the distributor port, could any body help me with the true scale of the Manifold port,and Hard lines to use.

was there ever a Resin parts made of these two items ? please help guys

Part of this is going to depend on what era car, and every fuel injection manufacturer has different barrel valves.

Hard lines will probably be AN-6 or -8

I know that Charlie at Pro Tech has some barrel valves that aren't the "K" Style type. The Barrel valves that feed the distribution blocks could be hard line or braided line. As Bill mentioned would probably be -6 or -8 lines. IF you are talking about the Fuel Distribution blocks that the hard lines come from that go into the manifold and Injector hat ports, You are looking at 1/4" hard line.

the TOP fueler am building is a 8 port lines, whats the dimension for the Distributor block ?

it would be an immense help if you were to identify the era of the topfuel car you are building. that being said, if you are not using a "k" style, i'll assume you are building something relatively newer with a billet barrel valve although there are many variations available. pressure lines from the pump(s) can be either-12, -10 or -8. return lines from the barrel valve will be -6 or -8. lines from the barrel valve to the distribution block(s) will be -12, -8 or -10. if you are using hard line from the blocks to the injectors, they are 3/16" o.d. if you are using a flex line it would be a -3. the illustration above is a good reference for earlier fuel motors. some of todays fuel motors use 2 injectors in each manifold runner and they have lines feeding the back of the heads for the nozzles that are directly over the intake valve.

are you building the fuel pump as well? i can probably come up with some relative pics if you can tell me if the pump will have one pressure / feed line to the barrel valve or two.
