High octane Posted May 29, 2013 Posted May 29, 2013 I just saw the newly released Fast & Furious 6 movie this afternoon and it was awesome! Lots of high speed "far fetched" action, hot girlz, and fast cars. My kinda movie and I'm looking forward to adding it to the other five when the DVD is released.
martinfan5 Posted May 29, 2013 Posted May 29, 2013 I am really looking forward to Fast 7, which is really number 6 in the time line
Lownslow Posted May 29, 2013 Posted May 29, 2013 I am really looking forward to Fast 7, which is really number 6 in the time line Lol im not the only keeping track of the timeline
martinfan5 Posted May 29, 2013 Posted May 29, 2013 Lol im not the only keeping track of the timeline You too huh Frank?
High octane Posted May 30, 2013 Author Posted May 30, 2013 Timeline, you mean you don't count Tokyo Drift?
Lownslow Posted May 30, 2013 Posted May 30, 2013 Timeline, you mean you don't count Tokyo Drift? After FNF 6 is when the events of Tokyo Drift take place, FNF 7 takes place after Han passes
MAGNUM4342 Posted May 31, 2013 Posted May 31, 2013 I made the mistake of reading some reviews and I here there's a lot of "Get the heck outta here!" moments. Hopefully i'll forget about them by the time it hits PPV. Then again I loved Fast5, and it had it's share of them.
Austin T Posted May 31, 2013 Posted May 31, 2013 (edited) After FNF 6 is when the events of Tokyo Drift take place, FNF 7 takes place after Han passes We all thought Letti Died, but she didn't. So maybe Lin wants to mess with us and let Han live. My only complaint with the movie is the fact that they pulled the amnesia card and then let Shaw get away, kinda annoying. The timeline is rather confusing and I wish they would have finished with the fifth, it had such a good ending. I will go see the seventh one when it comes out,but that better be where they end it. I'm just gonna call it. The crew and the rock head to Japan to avenge Han by killing Shaw. They have to get involed in a street racing circut to get to him. Then ,plot twist, han is alive and Han goes to personally kill shaw, but wait Elena is alive and is held hostage by shaw forcing Han to let shaw go. Other than the plot how about the cars? I loved the Jensen Interceptor and the Blue Ford Escort, a shame they don't make kits of either. Edited May 31, 2013 by Austin T
Jordan White Posted May 31, 2013 Posted May 31, 2013 (edited) I am really looking forward to Fast 7, which is really number 6 in the time line Technically it would be 7th in the timeline (though it depends whether the events take place during or after the latter half of Tokyo Drift). martinfan5 Posted May 31, 2013 Posted May 31, 2013 Technically it would be 7th in the timeline (though it depends whether the events take place during or after the latter half of Tokyo Drift). Going the by the post credit scene in Fast 6 , the time line is 1/2/4/5/6/3/7, what is going to happen with 7, is they are going to show us the events that take place surrounding Hans death( if they are going that direction), which is going to pick up from where Drift left off. And that is how the story line is going? Have you seen Fast 6 yet?
Jordan White Posted May 31, 2013 Posted May 31, 2013 Yeah I've seen 6, I was just correcting you on saying that 7 will be sixth in the series timeline.
martinfan5 Posted May 31, 2013 Posted May 31, 2013 Yeah I've seen 6, I was just correcting you on saying that 7 will be sixth in the series timeline. I think I was meaning numerical order. Now that 6 is made, we now are at the timeline for Drift, and the 7 will carry on from there
Mooneyzs Posted June 1, 2013 Posted June 1, 2013 I loved this movie and can't wait til fast 7 now. I have. Been trying to put all of the movies in order so far...hahaha

That would be a little far fetched though since Dom knew he passed in Drift, what im interested is how 7 gonna play out and whether they pick Sean for the crew or not.
martinfan5 Posted June 1, 2013 Posted June 1, 2013 I will go see the seventh one when it comes out,but that better be where they end it. Well Austin, you may not like what I am about to say, there are reports going around that 7 is not the end of the franchise, a rumor going around is that they are going to start a trilogy with number 8, so 7 is supposed to wrap up the the current story , and 8 starts a whole new one. It has been reported that , as long the Fast And The Furious movies makes money, they are going to keep making them, again, this is what I have been reading, does this make it fact, no, anything can happen And a spoiler alert for #7, Vin Diesel was on Conan last week, or this week, I dont remember, and he said that they are doing a scene on the Great Wall of China

martinfan5 Posted June 1, 2013 Posted June 1, 2013 Hmm so it will have something to do with Johnny Tran I dont think so
hvymtl Posted June 4, 2013 Posted June 4, 2013 It was an incredible movie for action loved the twists with Gina Carano and her fight scenes with Michelle Rodrigez were cool and the cars .... Cool, the mk1 escort and the Jensen those rocked and just the whole attitude was right . as for 7 Dom needs to find the remains of Seans Monte and use it to recruit him into the team . The beginning of Drift was the best part. Also for a laugh search You tube for car talk with Sung Kang (Han ) you will laugh Michael ps my wife was angry that Jason Statham is the baddie next time he is her hero

While the Fast & Furious movies are not great movies, they DO make money, lots of it.
Guest Johnny Posted June 9, 2013 Posted June 9, 2013 (edited) I lost interest in F&F with the first movie. When they started hollering noss, noss (not NOS) and they had a heller explosion (which we know would not happen) I had enough and left! Now with the overload of CGI stuff........ Lownslow Posted June 10, 2013 Posted June 10, 2013 I dont think so Tran was Chinese so there could be a Triad connection
martinfan5 Posted June 10, 2013 Posted June 10, 2013 Tran was Chinese so there could be a Triad connection You are right, and its hollywood, so anything is possible, just Han not being dead, anything can happen
High octane Posted June 10, 2013 Author Posted June 10, 2013 Nothin' on TV tonight so I popped in the DVD of Tokyo Drift and it's still a good movie in my book.
The Creative Explorer Posted June 10, 2013 Posted June 10, 2013 I watched the movie last week in the cinema and I must admit it is one of the more mature F&F movies, until they came to the last part of the movie at the runway. I believe the scene took about 15 minutes, where approx the take off speed of such beast around 200mph is. That would be approx a runway of 75 miles! I dunno, seems a bit far fetched and how did Helena die? She only fell about 10-12 feet, not really enough to be fatal.
