One of my new 40's Ford's I love the shape of these .Paint is nail polish silver metal flake and testors candy apple red acrilic laquer let me know what you think

I like it. THe way it is, you could go "old school" with it by using a hopped up flathead and wide whites, or go modern with a current small block with fuel injection and some billet rims. Either way, it's cool.

I love 40's coupes, and your Ford looks great so far :)

I have yet to attempt a nail polish paint-job... Might try it on my Willys ;)

If you use cellulose thinners in the nail polish it thins most ive found so far and you get some great colures B) give it a go

Wow. I think wide whites, white steelies with caps and rings, white interior and a hot flathead are what that thing needs now!

I got the 40 in a trade (sorry cant remember who at the moment) and he had done the chassis and it has wide whites on already .The engine was missing from the kit when i got it so I still have to find one for it

Im tempted to go old school with it. Ive been thinking about doing a tail dragger with wheel covers

if its a revel's 40 then find a small block ford out of a 32 ford kit would be cool or a hemi out of the 5window kit that 5 window kit has two motors so it a two bagger. it a win win

Yeh it is the revell 40 I dont have a motor yet but I have some of the AMT flatheads in the parts box there not as well detailed as the original kit motor but they still look good dressed up
