Wonderbread Kustomz Posted June 2, 2013 Posted June 2, 2013 Finished this last night. Aluminum straight pipe exhaust, Scratchbuilt compressors ( first time) and tank and ran air lines. Used the stock frame and notched it. Added side trim and weathered. This was built to resemble a project truck that's in progress. Something you'd see in a construction zone special of Minitruckin mag... But it's a full size lol
crazyrichard Posted June 2, 2013 Posted June 2, 2013 very cool , i do want to see it with a bed all done but this is also a cool concept
mini trucker Posted June 3, 2013 Posted June 3, 2013 Looks good man, kind of a rat rod meets mini truck
JasonFL Posted June 18, 2013 Posted June 18, 2013 I just got done looking at the build page, some nice work. I liked the fact that you kept it in the "project" stage, love that look. Do you happen to have any photos of the air ride set up? Tank, comp., bags, etc...? One day I'd like to build models of the different stages my custom trucks went through.
JasonFL Posted June 18, 2013 Posted June 18, 2013 Btw, I like your reference to the "construction zone" , one of the best parts about MT magazine.
Wonderbread Kustomz Posted June 21, 2013 Author Posted June 21, 2013 Thanks Jason... I can get some pics for you and PM those
Nick F40 Posted August 12, 2013 Posted August 12, 2013 I love this, i'm picturing it now in the magazine lol
Wonderbread Kustomz Posted August 12, 2013 Author Posted August 12, 2013 THanks Nick.... That was the look i was aiming for lol
JasonFL Posted August 15, 2013 Posted August 15, 2013 Thanks Jason... I can get some pics for you and PM those Wish I woulda saw this before, I'd really appreciate it if you could send some photos over. I'd like to build the air ride set up for my Merc and this new van I got. I think you'll love what I'm gonna do to the van. I'll try and get a photo for you.
