LVZ2881 Posted October 20, 2007 Posted October 20, 2007 i am using the standard detail master ignition wire
ronr Posted October 20, 2007 Posted October 20, 2007 I like to use insulation from a wire just slightly larger than the wire I`m using.
CarModDave Posted October 20, 2007 Posted October 20, 2007 I use the plug boots offered by Pro Tech. Here's what I do to make them into "90 degree" boots: Here they are on a motor I'm working on for a 1990 Chevy 454 SS pickup:
MikeMc Posted October 20, 2007 Posted October 20, 2007 You can make plugs out of styrene tubing..drill hole into head, insert tubing and cement. when dry cut to length, paint plug white or yellow, touch of matte black for the boot then slide the wire down the center!!
