Ognib
I'm considering my approach on the flathead engine out of my 1:8 deuce kit. The engine will be blacked out & I'll use brass sheet for head gaskets, but curious what you guys are using for realistic looking gasket material on front covers, water pumps, intakes & oil pans? Eshaver
Ray, being as the Ford V- 8 mainly used Kraft paper and Cork , I would suggest a medium Brown and some Black to wash . I assuming that you're doing the 24 stud Linburg kit . That's referred to as a 59 AB . Intake manifolds were Aluminum and as such , should look like aluminum. If you have any further questions , please P- M me ...............
southpier
this company http://www.vectorcut.com/ makes photo etched style details from a paper which is much like stencil board (everybody remembers stencils, right?). if you could do some sleuthing and find out their source, I think your troubles will be over.
