Car Crazy 81 Posted June 14, 2013 Posted June 14, 2013 The other day i was going through my stash i'd came across this Revell 26 Ford T Sedan Delivery that i'd bought from a model show back in March i'd figured i would build it. My plan for this build is straight out of the box maybe some detailing im debating on what shade of metallic brown to use its either Dupli-Color Cordova Brown or Testors Root Beer Brown.
Tom Geiger Posted June 14, 2013 Posted June 14, 2013 (edited) This is the Duplicolor Cordova Brown. It is a bit darker than the car on your kit box, but a cool deep color. I think it's just great. Go for it! My secondary color is a Duplicolor GM color in the shorter can. Edited June 14, 2013 by Tom Geiger

I like that. Nice color combination with the fenders and wheels. Rick, maybe go with that, and the body the same lighter color as the wheels? So body and wheels the lighter tan, fenders Cordova Brown.

sjordan2 Posted June 15, 2013 Posted June 15, 2013 So, where is this going? Stock or custom? Metallics would not be authentic for factory stock, since they weren't available until about 1926 and you had to be a big-bucks guy selecting the type of car you would spend that money on.
Car Crazy 81 Posted July 16, 2013 Author Posted July 16, 2013 More progress done on the 26 T that was about a week ago. The body & fenders has been painted with Valspar Copper Metallic instead of the Cordova Brown that i'd had in mind i'll buy another 26 T for that color. Heres the pics.
