Which Revell '57 Chevy are you guys saying is the equivalent of this AMT kit?

Chris, did you shoot the purple over a red oxide primer or something else? I like factory stock stuff but that purple looks sharp!

I actually shot the purple over grey Tamiya primer surfacer

I like it a lot, and the purple looks great on a '57. Only thing I see that I'd do different is paint the three hash marks on each front fender a brass/gold color. Other than that, you got one racy looking hardtop!

Thanks Jim, I agree, I totally forgot to paint those three hash marks.... :unsure:

If that's the only thing you overlooked, "ya done good", as we say here. The more I look at it, the more I want to dig out my AMT hardtop and give it a try. I've been working on the Revell 2-door, and I kind of forgot, until I saw yours, how good they can look.
