Tamiya Metallic Silver I use as a basecoatphoto1-vi.jpg

This is the first coat of Tamiya Light Metallic Blue.I am trying to get the color close to Jetstream Blue.

Thank you Carl and Len.i just appiled the final coat then I will unmasked the top and wait about a few weeks to appiled the semi gloss black.The use scale motorsports carbon viber decal and then clear coat the car.I will have updates on the motor and the interior during the week.i am also studing the written exam for my Class A license as well hopefully I can have that wrap up soon.

Thank you Ken!I have scale finishes Calicove Blue for the calipers being that a never tried Jameston paint I figure I will try it on a small paint just I screw up.I know everyone uses his paint with great results but i like to try out on a first small part.i just have to buy lacquer thinner now to finish up the brakes and the engine cover.

Update on ZR1 6-19-13

Chassis is all paint up and drying

Engine is done expect I have masked off the engine cover and paint the Calicove

Blue

After 3 coats of Tamiya Light Blue Metallic the masking is off,let the body sit for a while then masked off the blue and paint the top black and then applied the carbon viber decals and then clear coat it.

Thank you Carl and Kyle,I should have Calicove Blue on the engine cover and the brake calipers this weekend.I waiting for the hobby store to call he order some Tamiya paint for me.I am out of Tamiya Semi-Gloss Black.
