This is my uncles 1964 Mustang that he's just got on the road (first drive and he found out the fuel guage doesn't work , hence the roadside assistance :) ) , I'm building it in scale for him using the AMT round 2 1966 Mustang as it was the closest I can find but I need to find the wheels the same as on this . I know them as "12 slotters" and know they were used on various Australian Fords from the factory but no idea if they were used in other markets . Does anyone know if they were ever released in a 1:24/25 model or if anyone makes them in resin ? Any or all help greatly appreciated .

They were also in the AMT 69 Cougar and Revell 69 Mustang, if that helps... :) None of them had centrecaps like your uncle's, however.

Thank's Chris , I thought it would be pushing it to get the centre caps the same but so long as the rims themselves are the same it'll be close enough .

Ian, i've got the AMT Cougar unbuilt and as I rarely use the stock wheels if it's got 12 slotters they're yours.

I'd go down and look now but i'm watching the cricket...

I'll look tomorrow. If you don't hear from me it means I forgot - nag me.

Yep. They are still in there.

They've got plain centres.
