01blueedge Posted July 22, 2013 Posted July 22, 2013 I finished this up while the site was down the grille is a resin 67 grille I had to modify one of the custom 72 grilles and mate it with the 67 grille to make it fit in the 72 body. there are alot of parts from B-N-L resins on this one the whole suspension, the wired distributor and the accell procoil. the body is the 72 gmc stepside kit. the frame is a dodge little red express the rear bumper is a ranger stepside bumper. I added bare metal foil and flocking to the interior here are the pics
59 Impala Posted July 22, 2013 Posted July 22, 2013 Nice lookin Chevy ya got there Josh. The tail lights look like 54 Chevy tail lights. May I ask where those came from? I'd like to have a pair of those for the Revell 54 so I can build the car stock. Thanks in advance for any information. Dan

slusher Posted July 22, 2013 Posted July 22, 2013 Very cool and awsume build Josh. Great color and detail. How did the little red express frame fit??
59 Impala Posted July 23, 2013 Posted July 23, 2013 Thanks Josh. You did a fine job on this build. I like the color choice you made for it also. I used the frame and drive line from one of the Chevy Mule Skinner trucks to convert one of these GMC's to 4 wheel drive. I left mine as a GMC. Dan
01blueedge Posted July 24, 2013 Author Posted July 24, 2013 Very cool and awsume build Josh. Great color and detail. How did the little red express frame fit?? I had to cut the front inner wheel wells off and cut a little off the sides and a little off the back to make it fit.I had it in a junk box with no body so that's the main reason I used it
