According to the "master list of kit info", the Revell Aeromax 120 has a Cummins N14.

If this is true, the engine is correct for that truck model and era. I had previously thought it had an older Cummins, like AMT's T600 that has the NTA 370.

Can anyone confirm this? I've looked at N14 pics, and the valve covers don't seem to match.

Thanks

It is kind of close, with a new set of heads & rocker covers it will be better. BUT in the Ford L chassis you will still need to tilt the block 10 degrees to the right (passenger side).to make it sit correctly in the chassis.

Thanks. That is what I thought, it is close, but not an exact match. Good tip on the 10 degree tilt.

If it really bothers me I could look at the resin Auslowe N14, I suppose.

I really appreciate the "Master List" thread. Good info.

Gary Wallace (GW Trucks) has a Cat 3406 in resin with the correct tilt. Bell housing rotated & motor mounts corrected. Just an option
