Grimm Reaper custom Van Update ( Oct 7 )

Doin this outside the custom van CBP just because I can not get enough of these things they are the thing I grew up with like some of the older guys are muscle cars and the street rod gang .I truely can not get all the things I need for the vans .So here we go This kit was the Monogram VANPIRE custom van I'll be doing the hole hog on this one going to get some of the BFG's from Cheif Joe (asap when wifes not looking LOL) stay tuned it's going to be a wild ride

Check out some artwork for the van and getting everything sorted out for wheels,tires and body mods here's a pictures of what I want on the hood and the back doors gettin the last ride ready

Doing the deed

Got front air dam started just checking things out going to open and hinge eveything make a roof spoiler,hood scoop,different mirrors should get somethings done this evening.

Got my windows from cobraman today after supper I'll be adding portal windows to it and finish cutting out the doors and hood need some figures for this one yes I'll try to keep it family rated

Got lots done cut out for portal windows cut out the hood then oops no rad support started to make new one and started front airdam Get things sorted out for insides right down to the 8track LOL

Got somethings done here a roof wing made up and almost finished the front airdam and started to layout custom grill plus widened front wheel flares

There will be more than just the hood and back doors for art work it is going to be a challenge have to get paint booth going before wife will let any painting happen now.

Got started on a custom grille for the reaper going to have squared head lamps and skull center insert also abetter picture of the rear door art on back at her having to cut out plastic for my grille

Well gave up on the grille inserts don't look right when you can't get it done in 3D so I'll just keep it coming going to add fine brass mesh to the backside when I find some

Did even more work today wanted to open up the doors well doing that I was thinking about how to hinge them.Problem solved as I was removing the rear door corners where not cut all the throughand bending the door up it gull winged so that is how they are going to be hinged look okay to the wife now she wants that on our old dodge that old girl is another story

Round one of body work got air dam filled and ruffed in modified roof drip rail where sliding door is on the side it will be gullwinged also,filled rear pan under rear doors no bumpers here

started body work on rear dorrs to make like one piece still lots of work there hate ghost lines primer block sand repeat

Well made at little progress have being trying to figure out how to made a sunvisor for the outside front windshield,and roof mount air conditioner like they had back in the day plus thinking of doing it abit modern but still old

Been working at this van lots today got to come home early so it was right down to the shop. got the roof mount a/c sorted out should look interesting you got to keep things cool for this guy. Picked the wheels out still have to order my BFG's from Fireball so just have mock up tires for now,of course big and littles .And started to make sunvisor ruffed up and getting into shape. Got the hood scoupe opened up also well back to the bench

Well I'm slowly bring some life to the reaper started on the motor using the 66 Nova block mated to the so call turbo350 from the kit will be makeing the trans look like the turbo not the sort of 350 ,400, power glide,mix that it was just weird looking I know it's not that visable but it's the way I build plus got some primer on the beast

To much coffee to sleep,got to thinking of a scale lic.plate maker (acme scale plate maker) so I made up the Lic. plate for the reaper this is our current plate up here in Manitoba Canada which is nice

Mr Bones is on his way he said I'm out of here going to drive the Reapers van.He is tired of being in the dark
