comp1839 Posted May 29, 2014 Author Posted May 29, 2014 been workin' on the '37, guys. hopefully i'll get some free time soon.
futurattraction Posted May 30, 2014 Posted May 30, 2014 Sort of figured... But hey! There's no harm in asking... LOL
Romell R Posted June 4, 2014 Posted June 4, 2014 I just read thru 25 pages of pure art you have an amazing talent Dave... This is and outstanding project but nothing short of what i expect to roll off your work bench. keep it up buddy.
Slammed1 Posted June 10, 2014 Posted June 10, 2014 I myself am new to the site but not new to modeling and can say this build is the best I have ever seen. Its modeling porn, artestry, machinist heaven and more!! Will be watching for updates as I know its only going to get better. Wow,just wow!!
Magic Photos Posted June 11, 2014 Posted June 11, 2014 Dave going through withdrawals here buddy. LOL how is the 1:1 car coming along. Post some pics.
comp1839 Posted June 11, 2014 Author Posted June 11, 2014 i want to thank all of you, for your thoughts and input. sorry about the withdrawal pangs. i should be getting back the the camaro in a very short amount of time. got alot done on the '37. the motor is essentially done. there are a few small items i need to finish. hopefully i'll be buttoning the clutch, bellhousing and the trans up to it by the weekend. then it's all about making all the rest of the stuff for the car. it's a great deal of fun to work on this car, as nothing really bolts together. you have to fab and modify everything to get stuff to go together. any way, here's the engine.
Red rocket 10 Posted June 12, 2014 Posted June 12, 2014 Looking real good my friend , can't wait to see it done........ Leonard
futurattraction Posted June 12, 2014 Posted June 12, 2014 Cool pic, Dave. I'm anxious to see pics of the '37 and updates of your Camaro!
Magic Photos Posted June 12, 2014 Posted June 12, 2014 We never know this could be his 1:1 or his model can't tell the differents.
futurattraction Posted June 13, 2014 Posted June 13, 2014 I actually had the same thought when I saw it, Mike... LOL Great minds think alike!
stump Posted June 21, 2014 Posted June 21, 2014 We never know this could be his 1:1 or his model can't tell the differents. Yeah, ya know.....I just new it was a matter of time before we started seeing 1:1 pics mixed in with 1:8th. It IS extremely difficult to tell the difference I'll admit. Dave, so pleased things are moving along in the real world mate, that looks to be a fairly serious motor right there. Don't forget to keep that "passenger seat" warm for me. EXCELLENT stuff mate.
comp1839 Posted June 21, 2014 Author Posted June 21, 2014 finally.............she's in her new home! i was very happy with the way it's going together. it is a little tighter than i thought it would be, for a small motor. now we can go back and re-route everything we thought we had right!! hehe. threw on a set of headers i had from the dragster.....close but, no cigar. oh well.
futurattraction Posted June 23, 2014 Posted June 23, 2014 Beautiful... even though it's nowhere near finished.
Magic Photos Posted June 23, 2014 Posted June 23, 2014 Looks great Dave, another 1/8 th scale? LOL Going to be a nice ride.
